Abstract Artist, KR Moehr, releases new modern art on the popular gallery site. Her works are unique for her portfolio in that they are hand-built, wood-cradled panel artworks. Normally working on stretched canvas, this new medium allows for a more sturdy and modern-looking finished painting.
Two of these works include MOMENTS, a modern abstract on cradled, wood-panel. This 24" x 24" x 1.5" original art painting in taupe, indigo blue and beige. It is ready to hang.
Another artwork, ONYX is also on hand-built cradled wood panel. Also 24” x 24” x 1.5.” ONYX is a more modern/masculine abstract," says Moehr, with tones of deep golden yellow, white, and greys with a textured surface and bold design.
On stretched canvas, another large painting is DESERT LIGHTS, a diptych of stretched canvas. This highly textured painting is light and soothing, with warm, desert-inspired tones of golden brown, beige, white and teal. It is two canvas of 30” x 24” each / 30" x 48" x 1.5" and ready to hang.
Her latest series, A Year of Landscapes, includes a landscape on paper or unstretched canvas of each month. October features a large sky with warm plum, golden bronze and a bit of peach. These are each mounted on board and matted. They are ready to frame and available for under $135 each.
