But something else has surfaced - and it's this that's actually supporting the rising interest in acting colleges. This new fad is that the current artists are, for the most part, made rather than born. The idea that an 'ordinary' person, with the perfect instruction and persistence, can be molded into a star performer has taken attention. In case an 'ordinary' man can be molded to a physician, engineer or lawyer, why can not they are molded in to musicians? What needs more instruction anyhow? All this disagreement, naturally, is in fantastic contrast to that which we had only a couple of decades back, when good artistry was imputed to 'talent' instead of instruction.
