In this press release, the Dechained intends to inform readers that Amazon is not Accepting Bitcoin, for now.

Amazon has issued a statement denying that it is planning to accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment methods on its platform. A spokesman for the multinational corporation confirmed this, stating that the organization was not yet ready to receive the digital asset.

The crypto community reacted favorably to prior reports that the leading IT firm could be the next major US corporation to accept cryptocurrency. However, it has now been revealed that the report's foundation was erroneous.

The price of Bitcoin and other digital assets soared in response to the news's highs, reaching new highs not seen in recent weeks. However, since the new announcement by the Jeff Bezos-led company, the value of these assets has plummeted; BTC has lost roughly $2000, while Ethereum's worth has also plummeted.

According to a spokesman for Amazon

Despite our interest in the field, the rumors that have circulated about our specific plans for cryptocurrency are false. We're still looking into how this might affect Amazon customers who buy there. We're still trying to figure out how this might affect Amazon customers.
