Mark Spain Real Estate, in just its sixth year as a brokerage, is on the Real Trends 500 list of top-producing U.S. residential real estate firms for the third straight year. The Top 500 list was officially released by Real Trends the last week in March 2022.

Companies on the Real Trends 500 list represent the top half of 1% of the approximately 107,000 real estate brokerage firms in the U.S. The real estate firms comprising the Real Trends 500 list represented 40.6% of all brokerage-controlled real estate sales in the country in 2021, up from 38% the previous year.

Already a top 50 independent brokerage from the previous year’s Real Trends 500 list, Mark Spain Real Estate achieved a 130% increase over its 2020 sales volume. It crossed the 10,000 transaction sides mark for the first time and achieved more than $3.3 billion in sales.

The brokerage ended 2021 with 380 agents. Most firms with this level of sales have agent teams numbering into the thousands. In fact, the average number of agents per Real Trends 500 firm was 1,138, or three times the size of the Mark Spain Real Estate sales team. This speaks volumes about Mark Spain Real Estate’s agents ability to sell homes.

The Atlanta-based firm has expanded into several Southeastern cities, including Charlotte, Raleigh, Nashville, Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville. Four more offices are scheduled to open in additional cities before mid-year.
