Mark Spain Real Estate has been recognized for the fourth consecutive year by the Atlanta Business Chronicle with the Pacesetter Award, a list of Atlanta’s top 100 fastest-growing privately held companies. The list was published online and in the August 7, 2020 issue of Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Appearing in the No. 67 spot, Mark Spain Real Estate was also just named by REAL Trends as the No. 1 real estate team in America, as publicized in the Wall Street Journal for a third consecutive year for most annual closings. The locally owned, independent real estate firm has experienced a two-year revenue growth of 86.2¬ percent and closed over $1 billion in gross annual sales in 2019.

In that same time period, its employee growth was more than 114 percent. Mark Spain Real Estate has been actively hiring in the first half of 2020, adding nearly 60 additional real estate associates in May and June alone. The firm also moved to much larger locations in Charlotte, Raleigh and Stockbridge, Ga. earlier this year to accommodate these growing sales teams.

To qualify for consideration for the Pacesetter Award, a firm must be based in the 20-county metro Atlanta region, experienced a two-year sales growth rate of at least 50 percent, and had revenue between $1 million and $300 million for 2019.

The Pacesetter Award is part of a growing list of honors. Mark Spain Real Estate has similarly made four appearances on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list. The Inc. 5000 is the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
