Possessing various attributes and qualities as an aspiring educational administrator, Tawfik Adams always comes up with a keen interest in the success of the school and a desire to equip the students with the best. He is highly passionate about education, thus making a sustained difference.

As a social studies teacher, Tawfik knows how to communicate effectively with the students. He makes efforts to build their trust, motivate them and better understand their needs. He believes that role of a social studies teacher demands your spirit, scholarship, and your personality to a peculiar degree.

Holding an extensive expertise in his administrative career, Tawfik formerly served as Assistant Principal at Bladensburg High School from 2003-2007. He assisted in providing the leadership for the overall instructional program that included selection and hiring of support and instructional staff. Besides, he served as Assistant Principal at Oxon Hill High School, Tawfik evaluated the assigned personnel for the purpose of ensuring that standards were achieved and performance was maximized.

As the former instructional specialist at High School Consortium, Tawfik Adams provided hands-on coaching to a selected group of teachers and helped them master the essentials of effective instruction. Tawfik Adams considered his sole responsibility to observe the lessons and provided targeted and actionable feedback to the teachers. He designed and implemented high-quality professional development sessions.

About Tawfik Adams

Completing Bachelor of Arts in United States History from Western Connecticut State University, Tawfik Adams gained skills to make a successful administrative career. Thereafter, he attended University of Bridgeport to complete Masters Degree in Secondary Education. Pertaining to the certifications he has received, Tawfik possesses Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate in Endorsements that included Admin I and II, and History. He received the dissertation of the Year Award for “Determining the Relationship of Principal’s Leadership Styles (Transformational, Transactional, Laissez-Faire) on Teacher Job Satisfaction at Various Career Stages”.
