No joy is better than seeing these happy smiles on the couples with their children. While we realise you have waited for so many years for this day that you take your children in your arms, we are extremely glad to be a part of this happiness :Mr. (48y) and Mrs. PC (38y) reviewed in SWH (UNIT OF SWCIC) after 18yrs of marriage. Mrs. PC had a Laparoscopy done in the past and was diagnosed with PCOD. After diagnosis she tried various treatments but did not conceive. Mrs PC had 3 cycles of IUI and 1 cycle of IVF outside which failed. She then reviewed in SWH(UNIT OF SWCIC) and was suggested another cycle of IVF with newer protocols and injections. Her AMH was 2.2 and TB-PCR negative. She conceived in the first attempt of IVF and is now pregnant with triplets.2) Pelvic TuberculosisMr. and Mrs. Kamran reviewed at SWH (UNIT OF SWCIC) with complaints of primary Infertility, married for 7years.She was given the option of IVF elsewhere and refused.On examination at SWC both partners were found to be normal. Mrs Kamran was suggested a Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy which showed tubercles on the uterus and tubes and the tubes were blocked. An FTC (Fallopian tube catheterization) was done by which the tubes opened and there was a free spill of dye.After Laparoscopy she was put on Anti-tuberculosis treatment. She fell pregnant in 4 months post procedure and is now 8months pregnant.
