Tampa City Ballet Nutcracker has Magic and Mayhem at Scientology Church

Classic Christmas entertainment provided by Tampa City Ballet and the Church of Scientology of Tampa.

Off with the Mouse King's head! That beheading awakens the nutcracker into his true self, a Prince, who escorts young Clara on a world tour through dance!
Tampa City Ballet and their associated school, America's Ballet School gave a truly splendid performance of this traditional Christmas ballet. Thank you, Paula Nunez, the Founder and Artistic Director of TCB. Ruben Celiberti, internationally known dancer, and Artistic Director of a parishioner's committee of the Church of Scientology of Tampa coordinated this event. This winter especially, our community needs this life and joy.

There were artists and business people, owners of local shops and some quiet celebrities, young and old alike; all told, 250 people filled the courtyard at Ybor Square. They came in small and large groups, wearing masks and respecting each other's social distancing. They were welcomed by the Church of Scientology of Tampa with graciousness and with hygiene protocols, including having their temperatures taken, so that a safe environment was created.

"A culture is only as great as its dreams, and its dreams are dreamed by artists.", L. Ron Hubbard.
