Powerful men, men who have accrued status and control, wealth and position, can loose their moorings in morals and don't have the faintest idea of ethics. We are starting to see the results of trials about sexual assault and sexual bullying in the "glamour" industries. It seems that men who feel entitled to have their way in the business world, who use bullying and nullification of others to prevail, are being called to justice, especially when using sex as a weapon.
This spills over into families, to the life of the women, children and men that are part of the daily life of those surrounding the victim, and thus by being in the same boat, are also victimized. There is a long history of such behavior. It has ill effect in many ares of life. L.Ron Hubbard notes,"More modernly, when sexual promiscuity becomes prevalent in an organization, commercial or otherwise, the organization can be seen to fail."
