Planetary Movement of Bodies on Pause

The stillness is so odd. That humans are on pause in travels, held at bay by threat from a virus, is really just odd. There are examples everywhere, and I will just mention two of them.
A friend of mine, who grew up in the United States, but who has been around the world for his work, fell in love with Moscow. He has a flat in that city, and a full community of friends and
even a Church he has attended over the years. He was visiting Florida in February to escape the deep freeze of the Moscow winter, when Coronavirus hit. He is still in Florida, and this is July. He would much rather be in Russia. His migratory behaviour has been curtailed.

Another friend of mine is waiting to fulfill travel plans to South Africa. He has been putting this adventure together for around a year.He too is waiting for airports and boarders to open up.
He is hovering, as he was in progress on a journey of a few domestic stops before the big flight across the ocean. He is graceful in his handling of this very long holding pattern. He creates a home in microcosm, not knowing exactly when he will want or need to pack up some of his things acquired by this necessity, and disperse the rest. Now there is the question of whether or not he really wants a storage space...but still no need to decide.

The stillness of travel among those of our race is very strange as we had gotten accustomed to traveling almost anywhere at will. We rely on one another to regain this freedom of movement across this planet that we had started to feel we each wholly owned. We need to take care of one another and stay healthy, and help the rest of us stay healthy through intelligent application of hygiene, including the use of masks and gloves. "Take care of yourself.", L. Ron Hubbard. We all need you.
