Every major religion on this earth holds it to be true that God loves his people and wants us to love one another.

When we meet, one to one, with no knowledge of faith or philosophy , we recognize the truth of one another. We see that we are; that we live, that we care for our family,
and our friends,; that we create groups to work with to forward our goals and create our future and that we all are the human race. For most of us that means we recognize
the spiritual nature of each one.

So why, in the name of God, the Creator, Allah, Jahova, Jesus, Yaweh... do we fight our worst wars? Create our most horrible tortures? Devise our most terrible and humiliating punishments in his name ? What right has Man, in the name of our Creator, to torture, kill and maim? Do we really presume that one way of loving God is superior, or the only way? Really?

We are one humanity, one blood indeed. We are charged to love one another as we love ourselves. Perhaps that is the real trouble; we are struggling to love ourselves.
And perhaps we should then turn to God, and learn how to love the part of his creation with whom we are most intimate; ourselves. You are worthy of love.

A great humanitarian, L. Ron Hubbard, put it this way,"Religious tolerance does not mean one cannot express his own beliefs. It does mean that seeking to undermine or attack the religious faith and beliefs of another has always been a short road to trouble."
