Today was a day of listening. Hearing fear and frustration; hearing relief, celebration, and happiness; hearing hope and intelligence, and hearing a whole lot of "information", some of which has to be false. So much of what is being considered information is extrapolated from what we actually know into what we think the future will hold. I am talking about Coronavirus and the vaccines. This is because, in part, the vaccines have only been in existence for a short time. When the experts say that we know the vaccines create effective immunity for at least six months, they are
NOT saying that six months is all it lasts. They ARE saying that we have reliable data that it is effective for six months, and that what we project for the future is extrapolation.
