Human Rights. How simple that seems. The essence of the concept is stated in every philosophy, culture and religion on the planet.

Human Rights. How simple that seems. The essence of the concept is stated in every philosophy, culture and religion on the planet.
In the Western religions we call it the Golden Rule. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Does this echo in some way something you heard growing up? But did we see it modeled in the behaviors of those around us? We have to be very strong to use this as a way to align our life. Sometimes it takes every ounce of integrity we have to stay outside of emotion and reaction and act for the good of all. It can be very difficult to not pretend that revenge is justice. The use of violence against a generality such as the system or culture, harms individuals who have not done anything to you, or anyone there. This is not justice. This magnifies the hatred. What future do you want for your children and grandchildren?

Do you want to be part of the dissolving of the hatred and denigration of the past, and put in a new age of appreciation, fairness and justice? Or are you trying to vanquish, to conquer, and rule over a new class of slaves. Really assess this. It matters. Here is a way of looking at it from a couple of angles: "Try not to do things to others that you would not like them to do to you." and "Try to treat others as you want them to treat you." L. Ron Hubbard. He said these things in a book called The Way To Happiness. www.thewaytohappiness.org @waytohappinesstampa
