A reason to get up in the morning. Yes. Something that makes me want to see people, touch things, feed the cats or work on a painting, maybe even risk the nakedness of really loving someone. Maybe it encourages me to dance a little, or at least pick the dead sticks up out of my yard. Something. A cause to fire my blood and engage my heart in battle.

There is so much that is worth the risk of love and living. Passion is the answer; passion for a cause, a mate, a child. It is love and purpose that fire the heart and ignite the soul! The word 'flourish" is not a quiet word. it brings with it extravagant meanings like "bold, sweeping gesture", or "to take dramatic action" , "flower and open to the sun" or "a period or state of thriving". I want to live in a state of FLOURISH! Who needs a tame life?
