How Many Colors Will the US Reflect in Election 2020

The United States is in the middle of the most contentious political season of recent times. Both sides believe in their hearts that they are right.

Color changes many things. I just looked up at my wall and thought, "It needs to be white." There is just a sort of dinginess about it, it doesn't capture and give back a balance of all the colors.

White, pure sunlight, reflected just as black is all the colors, all the light absorbed. Both are unity. Gray is also unity. It is the true balance of pure light. From here we can branch out to the vibrations of individual colors, to warm and cool, earthy and ethereal. The art of culture creation needs all of this. We want the extremes and the in betweens in all our arts. But I think sometimes, even if we appreciate the more radical explosive and wild art in its many forms, we like it in our homes and lives in limited doses. Sometimes we want just a touch of the wildness in our more serene environment. I love Mozart, but I am very happy for some Afro-Cuban to liven things up. But when it comes to politics, right now I think beige would be a nice color, while listening to gentle wave sounds or a soft flute.

The United States is in the middle of the most contentious political season of recent times. Both sides believe in their hearts that they are right, and that their point of view will provide the greatest good for the most people over time. There are intelligent caring people on both sides. In Philadelphia, after the US Constitution was written, the delegates emerged to a gathering of interested people. James McHenry of Maryland recorded an exchange initiated by Mrs. Elizabeth Powell who asked, "Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?' "A republic." replied Dr. Benjamin Franklin, "If you can keep it." L. Ron Hubbard says in The Way To Happiness , "Support a government designed and run for all the people." It is a matter of being able to look, to predict, and to choose. An off hand thought, if you mix red white and blue paints, you get lavender. What colors shall we paint the world? www.thewaytohappiness.org @waytohappinesstampa
