One of my Facebook friends will often open up a post by saying, "Listen up, white people!" You might guess that she is a black woman. Following this will be s book recommendation, or a bit of history. They are all designed to get someone to look; to know a little more about the history of our nation, and how things have come to be the way they are. Understandings can lead to real resolution. Understanding and resolutions lead to a happier future. This is true in understanding why your next door neighbor wants bee hives in her backyard. It is true in understanding how fear becomes set into a pattern of behavior, even when one is not, at that minute, subject to the emotion.

In the realm of living life, we can start with this aspect of the golden rule: "Try not to do things to others that you would not like them to do to you.", L. Ron Hubbard. This is from his booklet, The Way To Happiness. Sometimes it takes an unexpected amount of awareness and discipline. Perhaps one could become a new king of Super Hero; the Ninja of Understanding, or something...
Anyway, it is certain that more happiness would follow.
