On October 15, 2020, at 4:00 pm, the first Democracy and Human Rights Congress in the Americas 2020 will be broadcast live on facebbok, Zoom, gotomeeting and Instagram. Organized by Alfredo Santamaría, political scientist and community leader together with Zarai Maza president and founder of the Guardians of Human Rights GOHR foundation.
The Latin American United foundations, the OAS civil organization 79, United for Human Rights Florida and Youth for Human Rights Tampa will participate. The basis of the Congress is to discuss the current democracy. Starting from the fact that democracy is a Human Rights, number 21 in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations. “Human Right # 21, The Right to Democracy. 1.
