A group or an individual will often use emotion, its variety and depth, as a gauge of the importance of something. We all like to talk about how feel about things. The closer in to the core of who we are, the more intensely we experience. Thus our relationship to God, expressed through our emotions, can bring great waves of emotion, from ecstasy and exhilaration, through anger and hate, and into the depths of despair. We are vulnerable in this love. We align and create our future according to this relationship.

And so it is that even minor disagreements in this arena can bring vast schisms, breaks, tearings in our relationships. To heal this, a recognition of the rightness and importance of the other is necessary. to live happily in peace, "Religious tolerance does not mean one cannot express his own beliefs. It does men that seeking to undermine or attack the religious faith and beliefs of another has always been a short road to trouble.", L. Ron Hubbard.
