The Theme: Bringing Community Together
The Purpose: to Play!

And on 8 June 2019 we played! Hosted by the Tampa Bay area Scientology Volunteer Ministers, five more non-profits gathered to have a classic American family summer part, with music and games, magic and face painting. There was a crowd of 302 people, almost all children.

The day had dawned with threatening storms,but by party time the clouds had cleared to be replaced by hot sun! The water balloon battle was a wet and joyful relief, especially after all the races. These were straight out of small town tradition including a relay with eggs balanced on spoons for handing off, to a three legged race, and a burlap sack race. Giggles were the loudest sounds to be heard.

High lights were the live performances by Grupo Folkloric Mnahetzi and Magician Mark Brown.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers hosted I am a Group Foundation, Grupo Folkloric Mehetzy, School of Survival Martial Arts, Pinellas County Foster and Adoptive Parents Association, and Tabernacle of Divine Ministries.

A rollicking good time was had by all!!
