PR and digital agency, Spider, is thrilled to announce that not just one, but three of our property clients have been honoured with prizes.

Vertus, Canary Wharf Group and Pentland Homes were all recognised for their achievements in the first ever digital ceremony, hosted by comedian Romesh Ranganathan.

Vertus’s 10 George Street was awarded Gold for the ‘Best Build-to-Rent Project’, Canary Wharf Group was awarded Gold for the ‘Best Apartment Scheme’ at 10 Park Drive and Pentland Homes was awarded Bronze for the ‘Best Interior Design’ at Radstone Gate. An amazing achievement for all three clients in a tough year for everyone.

The What House? Awards are often known as the Oscars of the UK’s housebuilding sector and they recognise the very best new homes across the country. There were 21 award categories this year, commemorating everything from the Best BtR Project to the Best Exterior Design and the Best Retirement Development

Ensuring our clients were recognised as winners, we guided them through the awards process from the very start, recommending suitable categories for them to enter into dependent on the award criteria. From there we worked with our clients to draft captivating copy that was designed-up by our in-house design team, meaning that the entries were easy to digest and really stood out to the judges.

Due to this year’s social distancing rules a number of judge’s visits took place virtually, so we carried out the organisation around booking judges in for both digital and where possible fac-to-face tours. In the end it was the exceptional quality of homes presented by our clients that secured them placements in the awards ceremony.

To ensure our clients got to the judge’s stage of the awards, it was really important for us to identify the right category for each. 10 George Street is Vertus’ first scheme in Wood Wharf, and sets a new benchmark for Build-to-Rent living, with exceptional Club Vertus amenity spaces, designed by some of the best in the business, flexible tenancy and deposit options and high-quality open-plan apartments. It was a no-brainer that 10 George Street should be entered into the Best Build-to-Rent Category, which was identified by the judges as a worthy Gold winner.

10 Park Drive represents the first opportunity to purchase with Canary Wharf Group in Wood Wharf. Each apartment lets in an abundance of natural light and interiors have been masterminded by Make Architects. Residents have access to an “oasis in the city”; a beautiful sky garden on the 13th floor which has recently launched. In addition, resident have the opportunity to get fit or relax at the state-of-the-art Third Space fitness club. These features were all highlighted by the judges and meant he fantastic offering at 10 Park Drive was rightly crowned with a Gold award for the Best Apartment Scheme category.

Radstone Gate, is a boutique development comprising 21 homes, nestled in the picturesque village of Stelling Minnis. Pentland Homes worked with Phoenix Interior Design, to create a unique design at The Primrose, three-bedroom typology show apartment which meant it was an ideal submission for the Best Interior Design category. The judges awarded The Primrose a Bronze and highlighted the clean, decluttered space that relaxes the mind and particularly liked the impressive larder cupboard in the kitchen.

A huge congratulations to all three clients!
