Spartans Basketball League partnered with the Junior Knicks with the same mission in mind- to provide young athletes with all the tools and knowledge they need to improve their basketball skills.

The Junior Knicks serves children ages 5-14 by introducing the game, improving the youth sports experience, and encouraging kids to play basketball. With combined efforts from both organizations, it calls for a strong and exciting partnership.

When asked about the affiliation, Lee Schare, co-founder of the Spartans states, “this gives the members of our league and community the opportunity to participate in once in a lifetime activities, like playing on the floor at Madison Square Garden.” Angelo Tomassi, another co-founder of the league adds, “the Knicks will provide our league access to their alumni for targeted clinics. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from the very best.”

[Spartans Basketball League provides year-round friendly competition combined with professional training. This allows players to have fun while learning and improving their skills. No other Long Island league offers the combination of training, games, and practices in climate-controlled, state of the art facilities.]
