San Antonio Car Key Pro's has issued a warning to residents in San Antonio. There is a group of young men breaking into vehicles. These men are lower level criminals. They do not steal the vehicles. Typically they steal what they can from inside, after breaking a window to gain entry.

Media manager for San Antonio Car Key Pro's had this to say during the warning to residents; “We are simply sick and tired of seeing our vehicles get broken into. We now have these 4 crooks who have been caught on film. One is Caucasian, the other appears to be of Asian decent and two mixed Cubans probably. We want people to see what these men look like so that they will be found and brought to justice.”

The video made it to YouTube. On the surveillance video the men can be seen using what appears to be porcelain from spark plugs to break the windows of the vehicles. Porcelain from spark plugs has long been used by low level crooks to quietly break the glass to gain entry. With one simple flick the porcelain quietly breaks the glass.

“We are after you crooks. We are going to be advising local residents on how to protect their vehicles and possessions. Park in well lit areas. Don't leave possessions inside of your vehicles. And most importantly join the neighborhood watch or put one together to call the police in such instances.”

The media manager also stressed the importance of having a car alarm installed. The car alarm is a sure way to keep your vehicle from being broken into. Even if you do not have a car alarm the company suggests that a low wattage LED light be installed on the dash. These low wattage LED lights look like an alarm is installed but at a fraction of the cost of installing an automotive alarm.

“Alarms are great. But they don't always work. Because the criminals only need a matter of seconds to get in and get what they need. The red flashing LED lights work great as a deterrent but they are only one small security measure.”
