On Saturday 14 Sept, 2019. “Fiestas Patrias Chilenas” (Chilean’s Patriot Party) was celebrated n Ybor City with more of 250 Chilean’s and friends. A day of joy and party, when all Chileans celebrate their independence, gained in 1810.

The way to Happiness Foundation Tampa, a nonreligious moral code based entirely on common sense, written by author, humanitarian and Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard. The Foundation hosted the event in alliance with “Asociación de Mujeres Chilenas” Chilean Woman Association Florida make this possible on the Church of Scientology of Tampa on Ybor Square.

Rudddy Rodriguez Venezuelan Actress and Celebrity introduced everyone to The Way to Happiness foundation, the first moral code based wholly on common sense, originally published in 1981, its purpose is to help arrest the current moral decline in society and restore integrity and trust to humankind. The Way to Happiness further holds a Guinness Record as the world’s single most translated non-religious book in the world.
Written by L. Ron Hubbard, it fills the moral vacuum in an increasingly materialistic society, containing 21 basic principles that guide one to a better quality of life. This code of conduct can be followed by anyone, of any race, color or creed and works to restore the bonds that unite humankind.
The Famous and awarded Chilean Author, Singer Alberto Plaza was present. He talked to people sang and enjoyed the party as well as his Patriot day and talked about The way to Happiness. All attendants were given The Way to Happiness booklets.

The Chilean Women's Association, are women dedicated to helping others in the community with their program. They came dressed in their Folkloric Garb and they did the “Cueca” dance. People enjoyed all the traditional foods, especially the famous “Empanadas Chilenas”, “Torta de mil hojas” y “calzones rotos” and more. There was party time with Latin music from all over.
