Many people, especially mothers, gathered to protest at the doors of the Florida State Capitol. They are asking for stricter laws for the sale and purchase of weapons, since the current law states that the sale of weapons for adults is 21 years and the new law could return the age back to 18 years.

Most women and mothers are alarmed by mass massacres and shootings in schools. Tension between the state, the constitution and arms sales organizations falter as they represent contradictions and / or interests.

Gun control groups in many states have tried to put in more stringent laws. More controversy is being raised by school personnel, saying that they should have the right to defend themselves.
