Panipat, Haryana: As we all know that to abridge the digital gaps in the country, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi came out with a world level innovative idea ‘Hackathon’, which serves as a platform to take up smart challenges by the young aspirants. This programme is aimed at putting governance within everyone’s reach. The first Hackathon 2017 was an encouraging experience, an inter-institutional inclusive innovation which set the ball rolling for new digital disruption scenario.

After the initial success of this American model of digital India, this marathon has now been joined by more than 45 Union Ministers and at least 18 state governors.

It is matter of pride for Panipat Institute of Engineering Technology, who secured 2nd ranking in Hackathon 2K17, having been chosen as one of the five nodal centre for The Hackathon 2K18 across the country.

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) is the Best Engineering Colleges in Haryana. The institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is a 19 acre vast campus on the brink of road leading to Panipat from Delhi and is reached within 50 minutes from Delhi Border. it is also an AICTE approved Colleges which is primarily known for imparting quality education in a world class infrastructure which gives students a sense of pride for being a student of this institute.

And now another feather in our cap to host and participate in the Prime Minister’s pride project which is aimed at harnessing creativity and expertise of the budding engineers who have already been sparked at institute level to venture new aspects of this start-up India campaign which in turn will bring about crowd source solutions for improving governance quality of life. It is a project to involve citizens to solve the daunting problems of India.
