"Ride Ride Ride" To the Extreme with the High Rollers

You think you know country music and heard it all? You should hear the Durango, CO-based band, The High Rollers first. This 5 piece band redefines Country music into a new height-in wider spectrum. The authenticity of Country music (including the jolly ol' Bluegrass) is there within, but these boys can flip your mind upside down by incorporating Blues, Rock, Rock n Roll, to even Hip Hop and Rap into their sound, as long as they can let the good times roll. The founder bassist/songwriter Andy Janowsky and his mates Steve Dejka on drums, Jeff Johnson on fiddle/banjo/guitar, Garrett Valencia on lead guitar, and Ryan McCurry on Piano/Hammond Organ are taking us into a jolly, rolly, spinnin' cowboy's ride anytime with their music.

Speaking of the cowboy's ride, The High Rollers just released a new single called "Ride Ride Ride", a track listed in their latest album "Kick It Boy" under Dustidog Records.

“The song was written because I am a fan of the sport of rodeo but particularly bull riding due to the inherent danger of the sport. It is without a doubt the most extreme and dangerous sport on the planet. And when something inspires me, I write about it." said the Singer/Songwriter Andy Janowsky.

"Ride Ride Ride" is a perfect example of how wide their music spectrum is. The essence of Country music is there, but it also has a dare-devil spirit of Rock N Roll and strong Rocktitude. The sharp singing, the mad piano playing, the showdown between violin and roaring electric guitar, all creates a high octane, action-packed song that reflects the combination of fun and adrenaline pumping just like having yourself up on the saddle.

The video is now available on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AQ1W76tDv8.The entire scene was filmed at a number of rodeos throughout the summer. The band prepared it seriously. "I wanted to get the feel of the sport from the ground up, from the smallest kids that start out with mutton busting up to the pro ranks. We filmed at the True West Rodeo in Durango, the night rodeo in Pagosa Springs, the Little Beaver Rodeo in Dulce, NM, the Foster's Buckin' Bull Bash in Durango Colorado and at a pro event in Rifle, Colorado. We consulted professional bull rider Tony Mendes for his critical eye and he appears throughout the video." Janowsky added.
