When someone talks about sports in Malta, the names that come out are football, rugby, horseracing, bocce and clay pigeon shooting. Water sports are also highly popular here but that is but obvious because Malta is an island nation. Tennis in Malta, while it exists, is still much lower on the priority list of sports here. TennisLine, our tennis academy in Malta, is one of the top tennis schools in the island and we train many Maltese kids and adults every year.

There are some myths that surround the game of tennis. People think that this is an individual sport - and this is not totally right. People also think that this is an expensive sport - and this is also partially right. As a result, Maltese parents, when they choose kids' activities during summer breaks, don't tend to think of tennis in Malta as an option. At TennisLine, our objective is to change this mind-set of the Maltese parents. And this is why we have some great offers going on in our tennis academy in Malta.

Our tennis academy in Malta caters to both adults and kids, but we tend to focus more on kids. Our reasoning regarding this matter is simple - we want to take tennis Malta to an advanced level and create professional Maltese tennis players who would compete in international tournaments. And this is precisely why we have Ivana Kubickova from Czech Republic as our summer coach. Ivana has 20 years of experience in professional tennis. She has won national and international tournaments and has been fortunate enough to work with A. Kartus and S. Dosedel, two noted international tennis coaches. Ivana's profile can be seen on our website – check out the resource box of our article.

But Ivana is obviously not the only reason why TennisLine is a top tennis academy Malta. Our courses have a role to play in this regard too. We test for physical and tennis skills when someone wishes to enroll in any of our courses. And then, depending on the age and physical and tennis skill levels of a child, we pair them up with three other players with the same sets of levels. For each court, we don’t have more than four players and this ensures that no one needs to wait their turn. Our courses are also totally personalized for each learner. We encourage singles and doubles games for skill and community building.

Tennis in Malta should naturally thrive because the island enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine in a year – this is most among the EU countries. The average yearly temperature is in the range of 23° C – ideal for playing tennis. However, tennis has not yet gained that importance in the country and we at TennisLine are committed to make it count.

If you think your child has that champion tennis streak in them, let them join our tennis academy in Malta. We will develop your child physically, emotionally and socially and help them improve their game to reach international levels. And with these kids, we hope to take tennis in Malta to a more advanced level.
At TennisLine, we want to create tennis Malta ( http://www.tennisline.com.mt/ ) professionals of repute. Let your child join our tennis academy Malta ( http://www.tennisline.com.mt/ ) and a take a shot at international fame.
