Grammar Sounds cool but when it comes to applying in a sentence even adults make mistakes. English speaking is no doubt easy but when it comes to writing an essay or a phrase in English often people make mistakes. Talking about students 60% of them will make mistakes in the grammatical sections.

Is was speaking to my father or I was talking to my father? We often see students rub their head with the pencil and think what would suit the fill in the blank. This happens because students think that both of the sentences sound correct.

• The 8 parts of a sentence should be followed and kept in mind. Often a sentence is made up of more or less 8 elements. These elements should be learned before constructing a sentence. Proper construction of sentences includes elements like:

5. Adverbs
6. Prepositions
7. Conjunctions
8. Interjections
• Before constructing a sentence keep it in mind that ‘I’ & ‘ME’ are interchangeable. In a word which demands ‘I’ cannot be filled with ‘me’ and in a word which demands ‘me’ cannot be filled with ‘I’ though the two word holds the same meaning.
• Learn which sentence should be written in which tense. Past, present and future are the three basic tenses. People often make mistakes with the tenses and thus the sentence construction makes no sense.
• Try to appreciate the difference between ‘your, and yours’. Both are not the same and both supplies different meaning. For e.g.your shoes are dirty vs. you’re having a nice pair of shoes. English is a language where ten certain petty mistakes are ignored by even adults but creates a huge difference in the meaning of the sentences.
• Checking for the subject and verb agreements create a major difference in every sentence. For eg, he likes chowmein vs they like chowmein.

Creating differences in sentences by wrong grammars often changes the meaning of the sentence. As an impact what the writer wants to write is not clearly delivered in the writing process. Thus good grammar supports the opinion of the writer and can create good English content like a pro.
