Diwali – the festival of lights – was celebrated at Fogla Corp office and PP woven factory with huge pomp and fervour. After the traditional puja ceremony to seek the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi was over, the atmosphere turned informal with fun activities. Keeping alive the tradition of active participation over the years, Mr. Himanshu
Fogla, director, FoglaCorp took part in the religious ceremony. Sweets were distributed among the office staff after the puja was completed. This was a grand celebration that unified the entire office. The energies of the staff were positive and filled with hope for a better and prosperous year ahead.
Apart from the festive gesture leading to improvement in performance, it facilitates a great opportunity to engage with the entire team and bring them together on the same platform with activities and celebration, to reduce the distance between the staff and the management during the festive season. This generates a highly conducive work environment – fosters a spirit of camaraderie that prevails for the entire year.
The office premises were illuminated with candles and earthen lamps. It was an apt depiction of the idea of ‘shine with humility’ – staying down to earth and yet spreading light all around. In life, the purpose is to shine and prosper and at the same time, there is a need to be humble and simple. Achieving this balance is a challenge for every employee. Garnering strength and seeking inspiration to achieve this fine balance on the auspicious occasion of Diwali was the guiding thought.
Rangoli designs looked attractive and creative. The dazzling colours infused brightness to make the office milieu look refreshing with festive décor. The glitter spreading from the reception area to cubicles was eye-catching and inspiring.
With the entire office decked up with bright and colourful lights and lamps, the festive cheer spread further with a host of fun games and activities for the employees. However, the aspect of eco-friendliness was kept in mind throughout the celebration. Noisy firecrackers avoided, herbal colours used – a green Diwali with a prayer in hearts to make this world a better place to live in.
The festival celebration and puja ceremony at the PP woven factory premises was similar in scope. Bedecked with marigold garlands, the premises wore a squeaky clean look. The factory witnessed the presence of several hundreds of workers who joined in with much fervour. Rangoli at the entrance looked resplendent. Sweets were distributed among the workers. Candles and lamps were lit up. The festive air was positive with happiness. The energy for growth and development was palpable as the workers became one big family united in the mission to take Fogla Corp to greater heights of success. It was celebrated as a green Diwali for a clean environment and no crackers were burst to keep air pollution level under check.
With factory workers turning up for the puja ceremony in new clothes on the eve of Diwali and to participate in the mega celebrations, it shows Fogla Corp is just like their second home and they love being a part of this large, growing family. It is on such festive occasions that they get to feel the warmth of the emotional bonds they share with the organisation.
