Performing at the welcome event hosted for Honourable PM
Shri Narendra Modi at Independence Grounds, Kampala, Uganda on July 24 this
year was a stupendous success as the music group Dhwani received an
overwhelming response from the esteemed crowd gathered at the venue.
 
This rare opportunity to perform at such a prestigious international event was the
highest recognition for the music band that has been rocking the stage for
several years both in India and abroad. This official honour marks the dawn of a
new era for Dhwani team. Already, this sensational performance has gathered
the limelight and brought accolades from several quarters around the globe.
 
Speaking to media persons on the success of the welcome event, team
performer Sriram echoed sentiments of achievement, “Now we are officially
recognised as a strong music band that has finally hit the right notes. This has
given us tremendous mileage and our shows are lined up throughout the year.”  
 
NAMO Community Forum in Uganda organised the welcome event and Dhwani
was officially chosen to perform on stage. Soulful renditions of patriotic songs
created an atmosphere of pure nationalism and reminded the audience of their
roots and the country of origin.
 
Every single track lead performers belted out was filled with nostalgia and love
for the motherland. Right from dress code to presentation and etiquette,

everything was conducted with sobriety. It reminded the crowd of the rich
diversity and legacy of India. Crowds comprised people from various Indian
communities who came together to celebrate the greatness of India and welcome
the Indian premier who represents the change for a new India and a positive
beginning for the bilateral ties with the Pearl of Africa.   
 
Dhwani has performed on foreign soil in the honour of Indian PM and this in itself
is a proud achievement for the music band. Lead performers in the group are
ecstatic and overjoyed to have a created a niche for themselves as a top-rated
live music band from Kolkata that has become the current favourite for its high
energy level and a stronger connection with the audience.
