The All India Induction Furnaces Association (AIIFA) is one of the premier industry Associations’ of the country in the secondary steel sectors.
AIIFA organized its 31st National Level Conference on “Strengthening Green Steel Production: Building Pillars for New India” today 24th November 2017 at Hotel Le-Meridien, New Delhi, to create a platform for the veterans of Steel Industry who plays an important part in bringing Indian Steel Industry in World Map
On the occasion of the National meet, the Association gives the prestigious Dhatu Nayak/ Ispat Udyog Ratan Awards every year to selected renowned steel making industries in recognition of achieving excellence in the areas of Productivity, Quality, Energy Efficiency, Exports, R&D Activities, technology development, and overall reduction of GHG emission and Entrepreneurship Management, etc.,
The Dhatu Nayak Award is given to Induction Furnace units and Ispat Udyog Ratan Award is for Rolling and Re-rolling Mills and other Allied Industries related to Secondary Steel sectors.
The award was given today by Shri Birender Singh, Union Minister of Steel –to Shri Ramesh Goyal Chairman of BDG Metal & Power Ltd.
