The Express Entry point-based ranking system is based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Parameters like Skills, language abilities, work experience, education and some other aspects are evaluated through Comprehensive Ranking System in order to grant a specific rank to the candidates who want to immigrate as a permanent resident to Canada and have submitted their Express Entry profile in the pool. Candidates can take steps to increase their ranking by working on their CRS score, and accelerate the chances of receiving an Invitation. The total score is 1200 out of which an applicant’s profile is awarded CRS score.

At every draw, a group of highest ranked candidates are shortlisted by the CIC or IRCC for PR application under a specific Federal program and would be invited to apply for PR. With a job offer from Canada beforehand, a candidate has a good opportunity to receive additional points and can get a quicker ITA as they will have additional points to enhance the ranking in the Express Entry pool. How to check eligibility for Canada Express Entry Program?

Eligibility can be checked by referring to the CRS score breakup. Based on an individual’s profile the scores in each attribute will vary. Your age, education, total years of experience, marital status, language proficiency etc are the deciding factors of your CRS score and the ranking. Invitation to Apply

The documents must be submitted within a duration of 60 days after receiving the ITA and the payment must be completed. In the event you plan to not accept the invitation to apply in the first instance, you can decline the ITA. You will again have to compete with the pool of candidates until you yet again get nominated and receive another invitation in forthcoming draws.
