14TH MARCH 2022 - Zambian music producer and songwriter Chase Sendwe (known professionally as Chase Iyan) announced his first single in 2022

The R&B/Hip-hop song Notice features the vocal talents of female artist Kyarah Marie Thomas and will be released via all available streaming platforms on the 25th of March. The songwriter and producer have also announced his upcoming EP called Teens Play Outside.

Notice is written from a female's perspective, a new challenge for the producer. When asked what the
inspiration for this song was, the songwriter and producer replied that this relationship in this song is
"just reaching a point of breakdown, especially when you thought that the person you loved was
100% honest with you. And it turns out everything was a lie, and you are just calling them out on the
lies."

The lyrics, written by Chase Iyan, talk about a relationship that is no longer satisfying. Using explicit
language, the relationship described in the song no longer works, as one partner is always suspicious
of the other. Thomas' voice shines throughout this heart-breaking song, empathizing both the
frustration and sadness that comes when love goes wrong. Along with the masterfully produced beat
by Iyan using Grammy award-winning sound engineer Kadis, this song is a contemporary R&B/Hiphop song that will stick with you upon first listen.

Chase Iyan has made a name for himself for his chill R&B and Hip-hop creations. Often, these songs
feature upcoming artists. Many of these artists have been very successful. For his last single, For The
City, Iyan collaborated with Killa. His 2020 debut album Killa Instinct has been dubbed "the best
Hip-hop/Rnb album of an upcoming artist," according to the artist's Spotify bio.

Of course, Iyan has not limited himself to only featuring upcoming artists. He has also worked with
renowned musician Stevie Wonder while collaborating with Porcelan for her single Toxic.

In the current climate of pop and rock taking over mainstream music, indie artists and producers are
raising the challenge of making R&B popular again. Follow Chase Iyan on any streaming service to
see the new upcoming talent that could be the future of R&B.
