Madhya Pradesh Tourism Organises Tansen Samaroh - The musical celebration of a legend!
One of the nine gems in Akbar’s court, Tansen, is world famous for his impeccable contribution to the musical arts. He is undoubtedly the pillar of Indian classical music. A prestigious award named the Tansen Samman is also honoured in the Tamsen Samaroh. It is given to the devoted artists in the field of Indian classical music.
Tansen Sangeet Samaroh or Tansen Samaroh as we know it, is celebrated every year, in Gwalior. The venue is the Tomb of Tansen, in Behat Village, district Gwalior. The event is a four day long musical extravaganza, held in order to provide its audience extraordinary musical experiences. Musical aces from all over the country come and perform, and participates in this event, and make it even more mesmerizing with their performances.
