What is OSRS jar of dreams?

Released with the Nightmare OSRS update, the jar of dreams can be obtained from the new Nightmare boss. The chance of dropping this item is very rare.
The jar of dreams can be used on a boss lair display in a player's Achievement Gallery to have a display of The Nightmare. Doing so requires killing it at least once.

Gain more rewards from the Nightmare

In addition to the jar of dreams, there is also a chance of obtaining other rare rewards by killing the Nightmare boss. One of the rewards is the Nightmare staff, a new staff requiring level 65 Magic and 50 Hitpoints to wield. The staff can autocast offensive standard spells and Ancient Magicks.
