Skilled workers are usually more adept at learning and acquiring skills. Unskilled workers even when they have higher degrees but often have basic abilities. It typically takes them much longer to advance in other positions. They provides recognition and a sense of achievement, especially with the use of skills matrix rankings and improvement awards.
