In the recent times, there exists two strong weather systems, which are under the scrutiny. The first is a well-marked low pressure area, which spans over Rajasthan and the bordering areas. Further, the second one is a depression, which continues to tighten its leash on the Bay of Bengal. Both of these systems are more than certain to assume an intense role towards the due course of time and may spark bucketing rain in many regions of the country. As per the recent release by Skymet, the amount of rainfall may get a tad higher to the normal weekly average during this week across the country.
Weather in North India
The overall rainfall in the northern part of India is expected to get behind with the benchmark this week, especially across Haryana, Delhi-NCR, and Punjab. Also, the monsoon trough is edging up to south of its normal position, which has touched off arrival of less rain in the Gangetic plains of northern India. However, Rajasthan is expected to give reception to heavy rain, in the wake of low-pressure area in the region, which is certain to intensify as the time rolls by. Moreover, the hilly regions in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will encounter scattered light to moderate rainfall, as the week continues on its trail.
Weather in Central India
Central India is likely to come in the face of vigorous monsoon conditions, courtesy of the well-marked low-pressure area in Rajasthan, which continues to loom up and threatens to take shape into a depression. Further, depression in the Bay of Bengal is gradually turning into a deep depression. Also, the first half of the week will be marked by widespread rain in Gujarat and its adjoining areas. Additionally, Konkan and Goa region will come in the face of good rain during this period. As far as second half of the week is concerned, Chhattisgarh and Odisha will receive good amounts of rain.
