Koobismo.com promises to deliver high quality storytelling, parody and interview content for nerds, pop-culture enthusiasts and everyone interested in experiencing interesting stories

We're proud to announce the the launch of Koobismo.com, an online provider of high quality storytelling and multimedia content, bringing fan creations to another level.

With this launch Koobismo.com becomes the new home for the acclaimed fan-made “Marauder Shields” webcomic (which gathered near-universal critical acclaim and around 2 million views), the upcoming multimedia webseries "Safehaven" and “In the Workshop,” an in-depth gaming & entertainment industry interview series. In the upcoming weeks, we intend to transform "In the Workshop" into a full-fledged educational series allowing young creators to learn from experienced ones, and audiences to take a peek behind the curtain, learning how their favorite experiences are crafted.

SAFEHAVEN - A MULTIMEDIA PROJECT BORN ON THE WEB

We are also proud to announce “Safehaven,” the first original series by Koobismo, to be released later this year. Written by Koobismo and Phil Hornshaw (co-author of "So You Created A Wormhole: The Time Traveler’s Guide To Time Travel") this ambitious web-based project will feature a webcomic series, a fully voiced audiobook with an original orchestral soundtrack and a motion comic released halfway during the season. As the story told in the first season of “Safehaven” will come to a close, we intend to establish it as a fan-friendly, roleplaying and storytelling universe in which readers and other creators will be able to construct their own stories (with the most prominent ones promoted and distributed on our site), and host and take part in online, forum-based roleplaying experiences set within the comic’s world.

GOOD STORYTELLING ADVOCACY IN FAN CREATIONS AND BEYOND

Our projects, which started with Koobismo's “Marauder Shields,” have been focused on quality storytelling from the start, despite what's often being said about fan-created fiction. As a community, we hope to stand as advocates for good storytelling at large, especially in the world of video games, where narrative content is often unnecessarily sacrificed in favor of presentation. We believe you can – and should – have both, and to that end we hope to keep a healthy supply of reviews, interviews, opinion pieces, and storytelling articles that may be of interest to ourselves and our audience.
