It doesn't always involve pain in order to consider a situation an emergency but a signal that it needs to be checked by a professional. There are a lot of dental emergencies exist like infections, bacterial or fungal, fractured tooth, broken or cracked tooth / teeth, broken jaw, permanent tooth loss, object caught between teeth or even a severe toothache which require individual response and medical administration depending on the condition or level of pain that only a dentist can determine what likely the cause and treatment.

Any dental emergency can be potentially serious and should not be ignored because it may increase the risk of permanent damage as well as the need for more extensive and expensive treatment later on. Be prepared and don’t panic. Dental first aid kit is ideal and you can keep one in your bag. We cannot avoid accidents to happen but knowing how and what to do mean so much in saving or losing a tooth.
