Educated businessman Jerry Gonzalez Araujo announces the launch of his timeshare resort.

Jerry Gonzalez Araujo is a businessman in Puerto Rico. He recently announced the launch of his new Costa Dorada Beach Resort. “I'm proud and honored to be opening Puerto Rico's first timeshare resort,” said Jerry Gonzalez Araujo.

Puerto Rico is a popular tourist destination. The tourism industry has been important to the Puerto Rican economy for decades. In 2013, 4.2 million tourists visited Puerto Rico, a marked increase from previous years.

“By opening the Costa Dorada, I hope to make vacations to Puerto Rico more affordable and accessible, so that more people might see Puerto Rico's beauty,” said Jerry Gonzalez Araujo. The new resort is located in Isabela, a small town on the northwestern coast of the Puerto Rican island. Most tourists who visit Puerto Rico remain in the San Juan area. Jerry Gonzalez Araujo chose Isabela because of its affordability, and because he feels it is “under appreciated.”

“Visitors to Puerto Rico who stay in San Juan miss out of the natural beauty of the island,” said Jerry Gonzalez Araujo. “Puerto Rico is home to some of the world's most stunning natural beauty. I want the world to see it.”

When asked about his favorite natural sights in Puerto Rico, Jerry Gonzalez Araujo mentioned Vienques' Mosquito Bay. Mosquito Bay is home to a bioluminescent micro-organism. When the water of the bay is disturbed, the micro-organisms luminescence a bright, neon blue. “Swimming in a bioluminescent bay is an indescribable experience,” said Jerry Gonzalez Araujo.

Jerry Gonzalez Araujo also named natural sights located closer to the town of Isabela, where his timeshare resort is located, as top sights to visit. Isabela is the second top surfing location in Puerto Rico. It is also close to the Guajataca Forest, a nature preserve most well-known for its caves. “The rock formations in the Cueva del Viento are incredible,” said Jerry Gonzalez Araujo. “But don't go without a flashlight. It's darker than you would think. Even adventurous people are hesitant to go down into the cave alone.”

Jerry Gonzalez Araujo was thankful for the help of Resort Condominiums International in opening his timeshare resort. “Without their support, I could not have been successful.”
