When you are a student, it is easy to put a lot of emphasis on your school life. University is a time to study, focus on a select set of goals, and begin exploring the self and wider world. As a student, Camille Libdan knew her studies were only a part of a greater whole. Blessed with a natural aptitude for schoolwork, Camille Libdan has been the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships. Most recently, Camille Libdan made UMBC’s Dean’s List.
Camille Libdan’s focus on education has been years in the making. Her successes range from high school to university. Today, Camille Libdan continues to maintain an area of focus surrounding education. Camille Libdan works as a volunteer for a family-owned non-profit organization supporting a school in a third world country. Camille Libdan’s specific role in the organization is the creation and design of the organization’s Facebook page.
Camille Libdan’s role as a volunteer supporting an international underprivileged school is just one of the many ways she supports the education of others. In addition to supporting the social end of networking with others, Camille Libdan has personally helped tutor her fellow struggling students. Skilled in math and other course material, Camille Libdan has experience working as a tutor. In the past, Camille Libdan tutored students in Math as well as Anatomy and Life Science.
Like many American students, Camille Libdan has worked her way through college. She is experienced in sales and retail. Ever the goal-orientated individual, Camille Libdan earned the Pier Imports Sales Award for her remarkable achievements on the sales floor. In total, Camille Libdan has three years’ experience working for Pier Imports in addition to over a year spent working for a pharmacy retail store.
Camille Libdan is proud to be among the ranks of working students. Having to balance and multitask early in her life has taught Camille Libdan a number of responsibilities. Camille Libdan continues to focus on her own education and the education of others. Future plans include teaching English to foreign students and the possibility of a future in language translation. Camille Libdan has experience with Spanish and studied abroad to learn both Spanish language and culture.
