One of the many services that Russian Universal Services proudly offers their clients is the translation of personal and professional documents. When they were starting to offer this service, they found that clients would tell them that they were translating their own documents or getting someone to do it for them. They realized there was a great need for this since these were mostly official documents. Russian Universal Services began reaching out to the American Translators Association for advice on adding this service to the business.

“When I connected with the American Translators Association, I was glad to hear that they were comfortable providing translators for legal documents in literally every language imaginable. It was more cost efficient than hiring someone directly to work for Russian Universal Services. When we needed a translation, we contacted our project manager and they assigned it to a translator for us,” said Daniel Lerman, who manages the Los Angeles office.

Most of the time, clients need items such as diplomas, birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates translated into Russian or Ukrainian. In addition, there are many clients who need these same items translated from those languages into English. More recently, Russian Universal Services has received requests for other languages such as Chinese. Every item they send to be translated is certified by the professional licensed translator and returned within a 24-hour period.

Russian Universal Services may start showing translated documents on their website. They often receive requests from clients for the info in their respective languages as it is often easier for them to understand. Many of the official documents are already available in a plethora of languages but some may need to be translated. Russian Universal Services prides themselves on listening to their client’s needs at all times and delivering.

“When my grandmother came from Russia, she was intimidated because she did not speak English. She had all her documents with her and was convinced that no one would be able to deal with them. I assured her that Russian Universal Services would translate anything that needed to be and would be able to take care of her, which is exactly what they did!” said a happy past client.
