It is difficult entering a new environment without friends or family, but getting involved in campus organizations will help the transition process! I made life-long friendships through the groups that I am a part of. It is just important to get out of your dorm room, meet new people, and do things that you love!”

Additionally, Matthew Nemeth of State College has been a dedicated brother of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity for over three years. “As a senior looking back on my college experience, I feel like I have accomplished everything I wanted prior to entering Penn State University. I have made meaningful friendships, a difference in the local community, and I will soon have a degree! The past four years have flown by, and I am sad it is over. I hope more students embrace their college experience and get involved – it is worth it,” Matthew Nemeth of State College stated.
