Lewis Parks Berry has Successful Living

Lewis Parks Berry is a successful man who believes true success comes through Jesus Christ

Lewis Parks Berry is a Veteran of the US Navy, after having served for years before returning to civilian life. Upon his return to civilian life, he became a businessman, often promoted and awarded for his continual progress and hard work through the years.

He began his return to civilian life at the American Club Systems Corporation, where he was a manager for multiple years. During those years, he became their most successful manager and received their highest sales award three times in the two years he worked there.

Following his time at the American Club Systems Corporation, Lewis Parks Berry was hired by Merrill Lynch, the largest Brokerage firm in the world. He entered a 24-month program with a large class of other hopeful employees and received the highest grades in the series 7, 63, and 65 in his class. He graduated from Merrill Lynch's 24-month Professional Development Program in 11 months, setting a record for the Downtown Charleston, South Carolina branch for the fastest graduation.

He went up further in the company and received the Winner's Circle Award five times, from 1998 to 2002. In 2001, Lewis Parks Berry received the Executive's Club Award, which was accompanied by a promotion to Senior Financial Advisor. During that year, he also received the Million Dollar Earner Award from Hartford Insurance.

However, Lewis Parks Berry is not a man to brag about all his achievements in the business world. In fact, he claims to have no power in life without the loving help of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through whom all men can be redeemed. Lewis Parks Berry was an extremely successful man before coming to the faith, and wishes to pass on the wisdom he gained from taking the longer road to find God.

He claims that without God, nothing has any worth. And apart from God, he says he could have done nothing. Believing one’s own strength and hard work are their keys to success is not an entirely uncommon thought, but Lewis Parks Berry wishes to question and reject this line of though, saying that without Jesus, all men fall short and will find themselves wanting.
