Harvard Scientist Awarded By Charlotte Geyer Foundation

Scientist Sam Lee of Harvard was recently given the Charlotte Geyer Foundation Award for his work researching cancer biology.

 
Cancer takes the lives of many individuals every year and impacts thousands more as they watch their friends and family members endure treatment. Because of the severe nature of the disease, scientists and researchers across the world are constantly working to learn more about the biology of cancer cells and how they react to various treatments. Sam Lee of Harvard is one of these scientists. For the past two decades, Sam Lee of Harvard has dedicated his career to research, hoping to find new information to help turn the tide in the battle against cancer. Sam Lee of Harvard's research has proven fruitful many times and new treatment options have been created as a result of Sam Lee of Harvard and his team's work.

The Charlotte Geyer Foundation is a non-profit based in Sarasota, Florida. The non-profit's stated goal is to provide aid to those who are searching for cures and treatments for cancer. The Charlotte Geyer Foundation Award is an award given annually by the Charlotte Geyer Foundation to an individual or institution that has produced admirable results in their research regarding cancer. Sam Lee of Harvard was recently the recipient of the Charlotte Geyer Foundation Award because of his admirable research in the field of cancer treatment. When asked about the award, Sam Lee of Harvard was thrilled to be recognized: “I have worked extremely hard in my research and I have been blessed to get to discover new treatment options and new facts about cancerous cells. I'm happy to get the award, not because of the recognition, but because it shows that we are not the only ones fighting to find a cure.”

Sam Lee of Harvard intends to continue his research in the coming years and hopes that others will join his team and accelerate the progress being made in this field. Sam Lee of Harvard is working with the MGH/Harvard Cutaneous Biology Research Center to continue his research in the field. Sam Lee of Harvard's leadership of this research center will allow the research center to thrive and provide plenty of new research to doctors.
