Donna Hayden has been a long time supporter of endangered species around the planet. She is especially concerned about whales, polar bears, elephants, tortoises, and illegal poaching and ivory sales out of Africa.

Connecticut, US - Donna Hayden is proud to announce that she has been a lifetime supporter of endangered species around the globe. Donna has always been an animal lover. She believes it is a tragedy when animals go extinct due to human activity. It isn't natural nor is it good for the Earth's ecosystem.

Donna Hayden has done a great deal of research and reading about endangered species around the globe. The most important species she thinks need to be paid attention to right now are certain species of whales, polar bears, elephants, and tortoises. These animals have all come under increasing stress when it comes to keeping their species alive.

Another problem related to endangerment that Donna Hayden is strongly against is poaching. Poaching has been the cause of the near extinction of rhinos in Africa. It is also a large problem in dwindling numbers of elephants on the continent. Out of control poaching can cause extinction just as much as any other human activity.

Some of the organizations that Donna Hayden supports in an effort to provide small assistance in stopping the problem of endangered species are heavily involved in environmental and animal protection around the world. One major organization that she is a member of is called the World Wildlife Federation. The World Wildlife Federation helps to raise money to support efforts around the globe to protect and preserve animals in their habitats. Preventing extinction is a primary goal of the federation.

About: Donna Hayden grew up in Connecticut and still lives there today. She is professionally trained as an accountant and is a Certified Public Accountant. In her free time she enjoys volunteering at her local church and the local middle and high school in the area. She also volunteers her time to help save dogs from high-kill shelters and find them homes.
