Method 1 Remove and then reinstall the ink cartridges

Improper placement or installation of the ink cartridges can cause the printer to indicate error E05. So make sure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly. To do so, remove and reinstall the ink cartridges, and then try to print again.

Turn the device off and then remove the power cable from the machine and the power wall socket.
Wait for few minutes to cool down the device
Open the printer cover and open the ink cartridge access door.
Wait until the carriage is idle and silent and the ink cartridge carriage moves to the center of the printer.
Gently press down each of the ink cartridges to release it.
Now Pull each ink cartridge toward the out of its slot.
Note: Do not touch the copper ink nozzles. Touching it can result in clogs, ink failure.
Now, slide each ink cartridge at a slight upward angle into there slot, and then gently push up on each cartridge until it fits into its place.
Close the ink cartridge access door and printer cover and try to print.

Method 2 Replace a new ink cartridges

If the reinstallation does not help, then we need to replace the ink cartridge.
Turn the device off and then remove the power cable from the machine and the power wall socket.
Wait for few minutes to cool down the device
Open the printer cover and open the ink cartridge access door.
Wait until the carriage is idle and silent and the ink cartridge carriage moves to the center of the printer.
