We are excited to announce that the Classroom version of TDG has been updated to incorporate the new Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations revisions as of July, 2015.

TDG is a required certificate when individuals or companies are offering for transport dangerous goods, carrying the products and receiving them. Ensuring air, marine, rail and road safety, as well as the safe transportation of dangerous goods, is a huge task Violations to the Regulations can result in significant fines.

As of July, 2015, the new TDG course will cover updated requirements to the following subjects:

Training and certification
Packaging Standards
Labels and Placards - New requirements for Danger Placards will be covered
Classification of 9 Dangerous goods classes
Role of Consignor- Under Section 3.5, the Consignor must be certified and declare the accuracy of their shipment and specify who the consignor is.
Shipping Document - The UN Number has changed the position when describing the order of dangerous goods.
