Q. Your Definition of Patient Experience.
• For me, Patient Experience is a journey, a Journey of empathy, care, and wellness.
An experience of a patient is consequential in his/her healing process and is eminently impacted at all service points. It starts very much even before the patient comes to the hospital. At the very early stage, as a service provider it is our duty to ease the delivery system making it significantly and exceptionally simple and contended.
Q. Healthcare innovations you look ahead in redefining PX and the MENA healthcare industry?

• 19th Century Medicine doubling time used to be every 50 years and it continuously and sequentially got smaller and smaller but today it has been significantly reduced to 72 days. We have to be spearheading with innovative ways of how we can redefine patient experience. We have reached a stage where a patient can be consulted remotely with the help of robots; Artificial Intelligence is allowing remote surgeries and operations to be done from one continent while the patient is in another continent and I should emphasis that these are painless and scar less surgeries. Patients are looking for the best treatment, which is accessible and reachable, and providing them such preeminent options and services is a huge deference.

The two-day summit will also feature many renowned PX innovators as expert speakers from organisations such as Dubai Health Authority (DHA), International Hospital Federation, NMC Healthcare, Emirates Hospital Group and many more, discussing specific case studies, interactive workshops, various strategies and innovations in the field of Patient Experience.
