Indian Air Force Airmen 2019 Selection Group X & Y - Check All the Details on Aglasem

The Indian Air Force has issued an online notice for the recruitment of Indian Air Force Airmen 2019.

 
The online applications are invited for eligible (unmarried) male candidates of India and Nepal in Group X trades and Group Y trades. The online registration date for the exam has already passed. The registration started from 3 July 2018 and ended on 24 July 2018.

Every year, the Indian Air Force (IAFF) releases the recruitment for the Indian Air Force Airmen selection 2018. It provides a wonderful opportunity for unmarried males of the country to join in Group X trades and Group Y trades. The examination for recruiting Airmen is conducted every year in the month of March. The selection criteria for Airmen in Group X and Group Y are based on the score generated in the online test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and medical examination.

However, the Airmen Group X trades except for Education Instructor Trade and the Group Y trades except for musician trade, Indian Air force Security, Indian Air force police, automotive technician, and Ground training instructor for the Indian Air Force Department. The Indian Air Force Airmen Admit Card 2018will be available for download from August 2018. The registered candidates will receive the admit cards to their registered email IDs.

The applicants eligible for Group X examination are also eligible for Group Y examination and would be given the opportunity to appear in both Group X and Y examination in one sitting. However, it stated that the diploma holders are only eligible for Group X trades only. The selection test will be commenced from 13-16 September 2018 and the result is expected to be released in September itself. Moreover, the PSL list will be declared on 30 April 2019 and the enrolment list will be declared on 10 June 2019.

The examination pattern is divided into two phases – Phase I and Phase II. Phase I will be an online test (objective type) and the questions will be bilingual that is, Hindi and English, except for the English paper. Moreover, candidates opting for both Groups will take the online test in one sitting. The candidates are requested to bring valid ID proof (original) and black/blue pen along with them for the Phase I of the online test. Upon clearing Phase I, the candidates will receive admit cards for Phase II examination that will be conducted at a designated Airmen Selection Center.
